Position Alert: VOLUNTEER EDITORS!
We are currently looking for Volunteer Associate Editors to edit mastheads in exchange for receiving five FREE magazine subscription of your choice for one year. This is a 12-month commitment.
Must have 2+ years experience freelance writing or editing for publication, reliable PC & scanner, high-speed internet access, and experience using Word w/ tracking.
You must also have a large mailbox that allows for easy and reliable magazine delivery (magazines that are left in outdoor or communal areas tend to get stolen), and a permanent address that you intend to live at for at least one year.

Note: Due to the administrative time & costs involved in introducing volunteers to the organization, we are currently only able to accept committed volunteers who can work at least 2 hrs/week, ideally 4-5, for at least a 3-month time period. This is a great gig for students, recent grads, people in publishing who have some free time, or people who find the site useful and just want to contribute.
Please don't send us your resume, tell us how experienced and awesome you are, and then demand pay. Sorry--we know you're worth a million bucks!--but it just ain't gonna happen. And if you want us to contact you "if a paying position comes up," you must submit a resume and clips. We're not going to just randomly call people.
